La Crociata Bianca

I never saw this church without the construction site wrapping its façade. The overgrown vegetation demonstrates that the operation is not going on very fast… Anyway I like the ivy climbing the little bell tower, so I sat and draw it. Then today I was looking at some books in a bookstore, where I picked a book about Saluzzo. I opened a random page and there it was: a paragraph talking about this very same church, with an old picture of the building without jungle and construction site, portrayed from the very same angle and the very same time of the day, judging from the shadows. I learned it's called "Crociata Bianca" (White crossed). And I learned that there are also a "Crociata Rossa" (Red crossed) and a "Crociata Nera" (Black crossed), this last one I knew. Interesting.
